OT need advice for vacation

My wife and I, and some friends, went to Napa and Carmel in June. Napa will be pretty warm, but Carmel should be perfect. Carmel and the Monterrey peninsula is a beautiful locale, and pretty easy to get to. You can fly into San Jose or San Francisco...less than a 2 hour drive. Rent a car and enjoy the coast. We spent 4 nights in Carmel. I’d go back tomorrow if I could.

Some thoughts. Ojai is very lovely and laid back. You’ve got wine tasting, the ocean, beautiful nature, golf and good dining options. I like Taos NM and Santa Fe. Both good spots. Still love hoping down to Cabo. Not expensive this time of the year either.

You might try Flagstaff, Az. It’s beautiful outdoors, mountains, & pine forests. Not hot, as elevation is almost 7,000 ft. Has casinos.
