Masters of the Universe was a good old fashioned 80’s popcorn flick. I took my family and everyone thought it was a lot of fun. Our kids couldn’t stop throwing out quotes the rest of the night and my wife now wants a Skeletor action figure for her desk (she works in HR, when you see the movie it will make sense). It wasn’t woke, they nailed the characters (even Man at Arms) and the tone of the original cartoon, and Skeletor stole the movie (Leto with an actual good role). The only downsides were a lack of screen time for some characters and they could have tighten up the pace in editing by shaving off 10 minutes. Go see it in the theaters, and stay all the way through the credits to see all three extra scenes.

I give it 8.5/10

Is Teela still hot?

Yes, but she only has her hair up in the first few seconds when introduced then her hair is down for the majority of the film until the end when we see her in the more cartoon accurate outfit. The outfit she wears for most of the film is close to the cartoon but with leggings.

Can’t remember her original name, Ellie Page maybe….she was in one of the X-Men movies and some other comedy that now escapes my memory. Goes by Elliot Page now.

Will be in The Odyssey but no one seems sure what her role is for certain.

The former Ellen Page is playing Sinon.
