When I saw the first trailer, and then read subsequent pieces on the film, I began to believe Nolan was making some elaborate parody. I mean, it was so bad! But, alas...

So I've got something for those of you that like little collectibles and stuff. Apparently movie themed popcorn buckets have become a pretty big thing now. Next week theaters are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Top Gun. And they have special Maverick and Goose fighter pilot helmet popcorn buckets. I missed out on the different Scream buckets earlier this year but I made sure I got a Top Gun.

I went to Cinemark, went to the concession stand and bought one. Didn't have to buy a movie ticket or anything. Which really sucks because that's how I missed out on the Scream buckets. They sell them before the movie even comes out. Cinemark started selling the Top Gun buckets 2 days ago. The movie doesn't come out until the 13th.

They have Castle Grayskull and Skelator buckets and a cup that is an actual toy sword coming out for the He-man movie. Baby Yoda and Imperial Walker buckets and a cup that is just like the Mandalorian's helmet for the new Star Wars movie. They sell out quick so don't wait if you're interested in things like this. They only had 2 Topgun helmets left at the Cinemark I went to tonight and some baby Yoda ones. I don't think the He-Man items have went on sale yet. Didn't see any of those. AMC sells the different buckets too.

I thought it was pretty cool so I went and got one today.

AMC earned grief for their Dune popcorn bucket release. Several names for it that I won’t mention here.
