OT - Movies thread

On Amazon Prime saw "Capricorn One" from 1978.

I saw it in the theater when I was 13. Not a bad movie with a young James Brolin, Sam Waterson, OJ Simpson and Elliot Gould.
Very solid movie.

Recently watched Hardcore with George C Scott. Pretty heavy movie.

Not as old, but I watched Gone Baby Gone and the Brolin version of Old Boy. Both worth watching. Oldboy is definitely the standard in revenge schemes lol.

Didn’t know this was coming out so soon. Looks like it has potential. You can watch a color trailer online and the colors look really good unlike most of tv these days. This is the black and white version.

Spider Noir…

New Odyssey trailer dropped. The more I see of this movie, the less inclined I am to actually watch it. This trailer especially made some decent actors look bad at acting.

Was I supposed to type something here?

It's sad. I was a big fan of Nolan, until this [ Finebaum ] dropped from his nether regions. It's like Ridley Scott, who I had great regard for until he evidently ate a big seafood buffet meal in Mexico and produced the stinking horror that was Prometheus.

Sigh.

Recommendation:
Since you’re a fan of Nolan, try his brothers work—TV series Person of Interest. May have to trudge thru to 2nd season before it hits stride.

Agreed and a big fan as well. This just looks very meh and whatnot….its hard to describe but for such a big “epic”, I feel absolutely nothing for it every time I see a new clip.
