Just got through watching "6 Days" on Amazon. Movie about the takeover of the Iranian Embassy in London and the SAS planning and execution of the assault to free the hostage. Pretty decent flick and was less that an hour and forty minutes.

My wife recently watched “A Real Pain” starring Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenburg and absolutely loved it.

I haven’t seen it but will give a watch soon.

Looks pretty awful but seeing how it’s a Netflix movie, that’s par for the course….get it, ha.

Happy Gilmore 2

5 of my favorite movies not my TOP 5: Papillion with Mcqueen Hoffman. Somethings got to give Nicholson. Secario 1 Del Torro BMF. Heavan can wait. Warren Beatty. The Apocalypto film by Melvin Gibson. Yeah, Yes go watch it again to see the scene with the Cenotes and pregnant woman in the hole.

Once upon a time in Hollywood. The pool scene alone rivals most of what we've seen in so called cinema. I do not like Leo decrapia. He did an ultimate disservice to the Revenant. If you read the book the Revenant, THEY jacked up everything in the script.

I am not saying the above is the rule. Not saying these are my top 5. At this time March 2019 2025 the last day of Winter this is not my belief, just a thought.

Apparently they have remade Arnold’s classic, The Running Man. It comes out later this year I believe. It’s starring everyone’s current favorite flavor of the month, who is on far too many screens lately, Glenn Powell.

Any love for The Residence on NF? A murder mystery comedy in the Clue tradition. Good for a few laughs per episode.

Also, The Bookie on Prime. Solid comedy series.

I really don't think Neeson can pull off the droll, deadpan like the late Mr. Nielsen.
Nielsen was a serious actor and was reluctant to do Airplane because it was so silly. I read that, once he heard Robert Stack signed on, he felt better about it. I think I also read that he never again did a serious movie role after that in his career. Not sure if that was by choice ( I think it was) or because he got pigeon holed as a comedic actor for silly movies.
He became a master of that genre. Will be interesting to see what happens with Neeson. It certainly does not fit his usual persona.
