Blue Ruin on Prime. I watched again last night and had forgotten what a solid movie this was. Basic revenge/family feud yarn. Worth a watch. 7.1 IMDB.

Anyone watch Taylor Sheridan’s newest show, Landman, yet? Im not gonna say it’s good but I’m not gonna say it’s bad either. ‘Course I always wind up thinking his shows are wretched the longer they go on.
You get some nice shots of FTW, here and there. You do get a TCU track shot in episode 2. Having lived in West Texas, FTW, and worked in the patch for a nanosecond, I definitely notice/know people that each character represents. I think that’s why I’m gonna continue watching for a bit but I don’t have high hopes.
Episode 2 will also make you not want a daughter like……EVER. Couldn’t help but think the boyfriend reminded me of some Aledo players haha. And I’m sure it’s the point but good lord, Billy Bob Thornton looks about as beat up and wore down as one can get.

Oh extremely. The podcast that all this came from is a great podcast though. Forget the title now but it’s one of Texas Monthly’s if you want to search it out.

Also their exaggeration of types of danger in the oil patch. While certain jobs are dangerous, most have very little danger. Like those guys that blew up at the end. What utter nonsense.

Seems he’s been that way since Angelina. I was surprised The Judge film did not win a make-up Oscar for making him look danged near normal & that was over 10 years ago.

No, I don't watch much in the way of movies or tv these days. I mostly refuse to support Hollyweird. But the wife still watches, so when I'm in the room, I get sucked in to what she's watching. Watching that episode of Landman just confirmed my choice, albeit for a different reason.

Well consider yourself lucky then. Yellowstone is absolutely atrocious. Landman will most likely follow suit.
