No surprise to me that Milwaukee was #1. The Wisconsin fans leaving the Rose Bowl were by far the drunkest fans I have seen, as a group, in a football game.

Austin kinda surprised me, but still, I guess college students, politicians, overachievers in the tech business. OK

One more reason not to drive in Austin!

Unpopular opinion: I was down in Austin last year as my daughter's high school played a football game down there, she's cheer captain (humble brag), and I kind of liked Austin. Of course, I live in Chicago so maybe that isn't saying much.

As an aside, Second Baptist (Houston, TX) is coming up here for a game on 8/30. Anyone got a scouting report?

Austin is great. Helluva lot of fun.

It used to be much better. Before everything got homogenized and entirely too big. Back in the day you could get down there in 2 and a half hours from Fort Worth and then didn't have to sit in traffic for an hour to get across town. Bars and clubs had a much more laid back, divey, mom and pop feel to them. You could sit and drink with the drag worms out on the street and everything was mostly cool. Now Austin is a big, corporate, overly populated cesspool and you almost take your life into your hands going out on 6th street.
