Been almost 3 decades since I was there. Fishing was awful! Is it better on the party boats than 20 years ago? Can you still buy shrimp off the shrimp boats?

Update for me please.

Living 1400 plus miles from Corpus and not fishing from Corpus since 1976, I can tell you Mexico has been DUMPING several millons of waste in the gulf. I think this part of the reason it is now the Gulf of America. Dolphins swimming sideways and all

Been back several times. Downtown has more buildings, but nothing like Lichensteins. Love CC still. They are in a water crisis. Both sides of the political divide are blaming each other. What else is new?

Go over to the island in Port A at Fisherman’s Wharf. Yes, the fish are still there, and yes, they catch them off the group charters. Buy fresh shrimp by the pound to eat from the Peggy Ann, docked near the Roberts Points Park Marina. Port A has experienced a boon and cleansing after Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Lotsa new places, restaurants and growth, thankfully. And yet, Shorty’s Bar (’oldest and friendliest’) is still there too…. Corpus Christi the city isn’t dying, but not really growing either. The Water Street area is down, but trying to come back. If you are just going there, be sure to hit Nueces Brewing and BBQ—by far the best place downtown.

Was I supposed to type something here?

The hefe-weizen there is superb!
