OT - Breakfast Taco Place

Looking for a new breakfast taco place in the Fort Worth area for this weekend. I've always been a big fan of Melis Taqueria, a run down place on Vickery, but I'm looking to branch out a little bit.

Any suggestions?

Finally, an OT thread I can get behind. Any suggestions for the Plano area? Just moved here and the lack of breakfast taco spots is disturbing.

I'd vote Fuzzy's over torchy's for breakfast. Fuzzy's breakfast burritos are pretty solid.

I've only ever had their migas for breakfast and shaped my own breakfast tacos out of that, which is a pretty excellent way to start the day. I'll have to give their BTs a chance next time I make it by there though.

What about that taco stand next to the bookstore? Any good breakfast tacos at that place?

We used to have some good ones at the Woodshed... don't know if they still sell them or if they are even doing the coffee bar in the morning anymore. But had cabrito, pork, and lamb rotation with pickled chiles, beans, and cotija cheese. I enjoyed them.

For those out in the North Richland Hills/Roanoke area, I'd suggest Don Taco, especially the one on Hwy 377 in Roanoke. But they only have their breakfast menu on the weekends.

That shack is Melis Taqueria. Mighty good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Open 365 days a year.

Never had the guts to try them for lunch or dinner. My espanol is not so bueno. If their breakfast is any indication of the other meals though, then I'm a fool for not having taken the plunge

Bistec on corn with extra green sauce. Make sure to dump on the provided salt packet and lime wedge. I can get through a half dozen on a good day.
