Forgot all about Caleb Sloan. Saw Smith pitch in a playoff game, his last game, and was so good. He got outdueled by Burleson Centennial's Jacob Meador, a 2019 TCU signeee. Sure hope Meador ends up at TCU. Could really use him.

Would SHOCK me if he didn’t end up at TCU. Need to keep Priester and Cornelio too. Our pitching is teetering on the verge of being in a really bad place.

I think Meador is solid with TCU but it all depends how much his stock rises.

I let King pitch a second inning. I think he threw only 8 pitches yesterday. He has proven he can go 2 days in a row.

I'd guess CJS was trying to save King just incase what happened today, happened.
