Ortiz named MWC Defensive Player of the Week

TCU defensive end Chase Ortiz has been named the Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Saturday's 34-10 victory over UNLV. Ortiz had three tackles for a loss, including two sacks, among seven total stops. He also forced two fumbles while recovering one.
