How many b12 teams have new qbs next year?

Baylor
OU
WVU
Tech
KSU
KU?
Texas? Thought ash was a senior but maybe I'm wrong
Not sure about ISU.

Also think SMU no longer has Garrett Gilbert but again not positive.

Gilbert is back for 1 more year. Big East teams are very happy about that....

Gilbert looked pretty good the second half of the season when ponies went 5-2 including their bowl game. Gilbert might actually getting a bit of decent coaching after leaving UT. Playing much better as more time goes by away from Austin.

The kids in Lubbock seem to love their new guy already. They talk like he is the next kliff k.

Anyone hear anything about baylor's new guy?

Okie State had a couple QB's this year, and both did well. Both are back, but not a lot of experience there. We have some challenges but if Pachall recovers, we will be okay on offense. Tyler Matthews needs to get his act together by September...

Matthews really doesn't have to have his act together until his sophomore year, when he's vying for the top spot or as the backup. Do give Boykin much more credit for how good he was when our Oline could handle the opposing D (pass rush/run block) and how tough he was when he was swarmed and battered by opposing teams. Boykin actually played well enough to win 3 of our 6 losses... he doesn't own all the losses. Don't see Boykin as our #3 QB next year and there is even a possibility he's #1 or shares it in 2013.

Cheers !

Don't remember hearing anything about TM taking a year off so, presumably, he is vying for the starting position and certainly the backup position right now. While he will probably not as a RS Freshman beat out someone with the talent and experience of CP, he could be one play away from being the starter at any moment so I think its pretty fairly said that he needs to get his act together. Not that it matters what we think because I think he does have his act together.

Since you have expressed an opinion that I don't know anything about football, perhaps you could enlighten me some with your knowledge by articulating what it is that you see that provides the remotest possibility that TB could actually win the starting QB position over Casey Pachall?
