It is a valid argument in regards to recruiting African Americans. Hispanic population has increased from 2.7% in 30 years to 13% for fall of 2017. Thats a huge jump. In the same time period African Americans have went from 4% to 5.5%.
TCU is a very expensive university, on its way to insanely expensive with little need based aid. Demographics make sense based on what TCU is trying to achieve with its academic profile.
