I can see that. I can envision a world where the Alabama's of the world are using schools like Utah State as minor leagues. Send us your late bloomers! Bama gets them to run same O and D and shares tips on strength and conditioning. Then some kid who didn't develop fast enough for the SEC in high school but catch on later can transfer in.

I think if the super leagues of the future go forward there will be fewer blowouts and therefore less garbage time to get the younger kids real game experience, so the elites will depend more than ever on transfers.
I think it is, maybe has been done in college baseball now. We have friends in La. that have a son, a catcher, will play a year at LSU Eunice, then off to the old USL who has had input on how his ”career” will go at LSU E!

Lets talk about the opt outs for bowl games being required to buy their own disability insurance!!! Anyone else watch many/any bowl games that had the best players sitting out??? They better get as many bowls as possible included in the CFP!!!
The only bowl games I watched were TCU and Bama (family ties). Saw bits n pieces of other games. Obviously It was for the best for Savion and Bech (sp?) to sit. As far as the guys transferring out I would rather their backups get a chance to play. Was also glad to see Nowell get a TD. He has certainly earned his chance to shine.

The whole idea of insuring players (other than basic medical and rehab) is still foreign to me.
