TCU pitcher Kole Klecker enters NCAA transfer portal​

TCU right-handed pitcher Kole Klecker has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos has learned. He played the past three seasons in Fort Worth and appeared in 10 games with five starts this past season.

Klecker posted a 4.66 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings of work this past season. TCU won every gae he pitched in and he managed to hold opponents without a run in four of his five relief appearnaces.

One of my favorites. Loved the speed of which he pitched. His delivery kept batters off timing. Hate to see him go. Wish he could have worked out his problem. Best of wishes to a fine frog.

Disappointed to see Klecker and now Cohen Feser depart. Cohen was huge out of the bullpen. As was Klecker. Good luck to them. I hope this signals we have better arms and more innings in the wings.

Not sure that coach will like the recent lack of success throwing out runners trying to steal. I see DH at best in his future.
