The Big 10 Presidents are in DC thru Tuesday for the AAU mtgs, and the BCS mtgs are next week in Phoenix.

And if anybody has breaking news on this, it won't be ESPN, it'll probably be the Chicago Tribune.

You have a point about the Tribune probably scooping ESPN on just about anything important to the Big Ten.

Probably won't stop ESPN from taking credit for the story after the Trib releases it ...

Estridge on the WBAP morning show this morning said something about the Big 10 presidents saying the "Big 6" conferences will eventually go off and form their own league.

Good let them. Then I hope the NCAA kicks them out of every sport. They try that and watch state tax money dry up for some of those schools.

You mean leave the NCAA. Heck, they run the NCAA now, so what difference would that make?

If the idiot US Atty General would act, it wouldn't matter what they wanted to do. He's too busy putting on a trial of enemy combatants, in NY City. Just stop the anti trust violations occurring across state lines...

He was specifically referring to the Kansas AD, who made that comment recently.

It's possible. And tax money isn't going to make any difference. They'll form their own college governing body and the NCAA will become the NAIA with better sounding schools.

I am personally in favor of delaying Khalid Sheik Mohammed's trial.

He shouldn't be tried in a criminal court. Just my opinion.

Me, too...but then 25 years ago nobody would have been any of what has already happened, either.

So what did they say about the blue turf?
Some question about whether it was azure, periwinkle or royal blue....

It's being reviewed in committee.

If they pull out of the NCAA, they will be out of every sport in the NCAA. They will have their own organization for all sports
