Omaha loves us!

Got here yesterday and have had several locals come up to me and say they were all rooting for us against UT last weekend. One told me that there was a huge bar that was entirely rooting for us last week. Another told me that there are two types of teams they love in Omaha: teams that are there for the first time and teams that beat UT to get there. Then when they did the team introductions we were by far the loudest cheers of any team announced!
Its very exciting here and the atmosphere is great. Lets go frogs!

Ha! Two for two, then, huh? First timers and Horn-beaters. May be awhile before that happens again.

The Longhorns hate competition. Just like a crooked boxing promoter, they prefer paper championships. They protect their pile of money and don't even pretend to be honorable. They hate that they had to play TCU this year. They would prefer to avoid us like they do in Football. Remember when they backed out of our return baseball game last year. Cowards :rolleyes:

I am too lazy to research it, but my guess is Omaha remembers when UT lost the Championship to Fullerton and Garrido and UT left the field and totally dissed Fullerton. It was so bad...even Mrs. RMZ knew something rude had happened...and she knows nothing about sports.

Clemson fans at hotel are heading to the game today. Said they were going to root for the Frogs. I was going to offer them some purple t-shirts but I think those orange ones they had were stapled permanently on. Saw some Noles too, they looked a little nervous.

The Husker fans in Omaha might be friendly, but remember- they've got the SWC's blood on their hands.

We are waiting in line in the right field general asmission line. Lots of purple! We met a group of ten guys with Justin boots connections. We were hoping to jump out of line to grab purple shirts (only gray ones available in MN) and beers. Anyone with extra new purple shirts that want to sell them let me know. We want to help represent! Let me know...
