OL question regarding snap count

something I’ve wondered about with regard to our offense and our seeming lack of ability to run block effectively on many occasions. Does our lack of an actual snap count put our OL at less of an advantage than they should have. When I played, it was helpful knowing when the ball was going to be snapped. From what I can tell, we almost always snap using a silent count. If that’s the case, does anyone think that makes it a touch harder for us to execute? Just spitballin here. I don’t know enough about OL play to know if it’s less of a factor with our zone blocking scheme or whatever, but I’d love to hear from people that know what
they are talking about.
