It was a great win in Austin. I really enjoyed it because I heard a lot of smack talk for years from UT Alums. I fear we dont have a lot in the tank for OU. Yeah we got a few extra days but everybody has been celebrated like they have won a bowl game, I fear it will be negated.

OU has a real qb, that might start on Sundays. OU destroyed UT, we beat UT by 7. And most importantly, WE ARE PLAYING AT HOME. That hasnt been good to us lately.

I believe that OU has a complete offensive unit. OU is a better team then UT, and I'm going to be more excited to beat OU than UT.

Lets go get that better bowl game in Texas where we can all go.....

Landry Jones and the OU Wrs are very very good... but like kellen moore or some of the old BYU qbs we've faced in the past, he can be erratic if he doesn't have a clean pocket or if he is forced to throw on the run.

OU will be the toughest test this year for our d.

A lot will depend on whether Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde is under center. Landry is as dangerous as they come, but he's more than capable of crapping the bed every now and then. He's not exactly the model of consistency. Good things can happen for the frogs if they make him uncomfortable.

With that said, I've thought OU was and still is the toughest game on our schedule. They're a complete team as far as I can tell.

Hopefully Oklahoma plays a tough game against a fired up opponent this weekend so that by next week they are bruised, scorched, limping tired and broken.

Any chance of that happening?

Landry sucks really bad when throwing on the run. Given our D-line, he well be running for his life all night. The key to the game is (like every game) offensive play calling. I hope there are more than 10 pass attempts...

OU is fantastic, I agree with whoever said this is our toughest game of the year. Yeah their record isn't what it probably should be, but these guys are legit. I hope our front four can find success against an offensive line that's much better than what UT has to offer.

OU has problems on the offensive front. This game could go either way. Remember how they played WV? It was almost identical to us minus the overtime. Our defense will do their part, and if the offense can mix it up we win. I respect the heck out of OU and Stoops. Class act through and through.

Our problem is when they figure out we can't pass and they load the box. Then we are the kings of the three and outs. We just become a limited team.

I would not be surprised if we deviate a bit from what we've being doing on defense and gamble on a few more blitz packages. If teams start to get consistent pressure, Landry Jones is very susceptible to getting happy feet and going way off target with his throws. If he can set up and isn't facing a pressure, the guy can pick a defense apart and they can get on a roll.

I'm thinking, overall, they are probably more challenging that K State because they have higher caliber athletes and don't just have to rely on near perfect execution and not beating themselves.

Just have a funny feeling about this game. I think this is going to be alot better of a game then what people think. Fields and Maponga are going to have Jones freaking out all day.

Or I may just be hoping...

This is correct. They are a good team with a good Quarterback and good players all around. They are absolutely our toughest game this year, moreso even than K-State.

That said, I say this every week: Futurus vir, Envinco vir. I want them at their absolute best. BRING IT ON.

We have a chance to beat OU unless the Pokes breaks Landry's legs. If he starts at QB, then who knows? Landry threw 5 picks against NU, why not a repeat in FW?
