Ah... The trash-talking Whorn fan in my office finally came by and gave credit to Patterson's coaching, then proceeded to explain why Texas gave the game away instead of TCU taking it.

There are three or four other Whorns in the office, none of whom have said a word.

It should be noted that, and least in my small statistical sample, the Frogs are Aggie Nation's second favorite team.

Kind of interesting how our defense does that to people. Just ask Wisconsin who was scoring 60-70 points a game before they ran into us in the Rose bowl.

The UT fan that told me as I was leaving the office last Wednesday, "I think we're gonna destroy you guys" has not approached me yet. That was his response after he asked me what I thought of the game, and I gave a very detailed breakdown of their rushing defense being poor and how that plays into our offensive strengths, as well as the fact that our defense is really clicking right now and it generally takes an experienced big armed/accurate QB to beat us and I think Ash will probably make some mistakes when pressured. I actually predicted a UT 24-21 win, but said a TCU win wouldn't surprise me at all.

The UT fan I made a polo bet with happens to be on vacation this week. He will be wearing my ridiculous Hawaiibera TCU shirt (pictured below) when he returns from vacation. I bought that shirt just for such occasions.

My UT uncle will be paying up on our (first annual) handle of Crown bet when we see each other at the ranch over Christmas break.

I've gotten a couple of fist pounds from the OU and A&M fans in the office

Haven't heard from any UT fans around but an amazing number of BU/TT fans basically saying: "I can't believe we lost to that UT team" and "I wish UT played that bad when we playedd them" BS. Most people still don't seem to understand you can make other teams look bad when you consistently play good defense. They also don't want to admit we are more talented than most in the conference.

Ron, hopefully you demand he wear the Bieber cut like the manican as well. Haha!

Big 12 doesn't believe in defense. It's similar to how aTm is showing the SEC that a good, fast paced offense can win.

Heard basically the same thing from a couple who are friends of ours that we ran into at dinner Friday night. They came over to our table, no "congrats" or "good game, Frogs", just blather about how horrible the Horns are this year. Pretty predictable. I just sat there and smiled magnanimously.
