We at TCU have heard of your recent plight over a possible gray shirt at LSU. As a TCU fan I would just like to say that TCU is wonderful university. I understand your desire to want to play for LSU. If gray shirting is the path you choose I wish you the best. However, please know that you have options. At TCU you will receive one of the finest private educations and meet many life long friends. At TCU I firmly believe that you will grow and strive in our football program. Coach GP has been nothing but a class act and a man of resolute character. We would really love to have pick TCU. Tevin played at my alma mater at Denham Springs HS. Not sure what the problems are with LSU but it appears it is academic related. If he can't get qualed for LSU, I'm not sure how he can for TCU. That being said, he is one of best players to come out of DSHS in quite some time. There is running back at Denham that LSU never pursued and at first glance I would think he is a "TCU type" guy, not sure why he is not getting more attention.
