Do you know what Duke basketball was like before Coach K? They shot the ball at the hoop.

Do you know what the food industry was like before McDonalds? People went to restaurants and ate.. but could smoke if they wanted to.

Do you know what China was like before Mao? Probably less people.

Do you know what retail was like before Sears & Robuck? Bought your house with a donkey.

Do you know what travel was like before the steam engine? Quieter.

Do you know what America was like before George Washington? Less wooden teeth and more apple trees

Do you know what Mexico was like before Cortes? Had better calendars.

Do you know what Rome was like before Julius Caesar? A republic.

All of those questions are equally as relevant to the current state of the TCU football program. Nope bc now we don't have any appeal for a recruit besides playing Big 12 football and you can get that at a lof of schools in Texas now and now there are 2 where you can go play better football than Big 12.

Would like to know where you came up with all of those questions because this whole response really didn't make a lot of since but those questions were as random as random gets.

issue to me isn't about the players, the facilities, or the resources available to the program

issue to me will be those who are deadset that gary was done wrong, anyone who follows him won't be him, and anything short of winning conference championships from the jump will be viewed as a failure

consider that some here bemoan that if the frogs sign dykes we should get ready for a consistent stream of 7-8 win seasons and yet they seem to ignore gary's last 5 1/2 seasons
If we win 8 games next year that would be great. Better than I would expect. And if that happens, just go from there and try and build on that. It’s gonna be a lot more of a year to year thing going forward.

Every team who does this head coach switch will lose recruits, some more than others. Our loss will be significant and we will be paying for it for many years. You just have to hit the portal and try to keep the ship afloat through the storm.

Some articles have him in contention for LSU. I doubt if true he would agree secretly to go to ASU.
After spending a hefty amount of time around LSU fans and being somewhat active on a few SEC boards, their view is the only way Napier is the next head coach of the Bayou Bengals is if Lincoln Riley, Jimbo Fisher, Lane Kiffen and Dave Aranda turn them down.

But maybe. Weird [ Finebaum ] happens.

It is all speculation and rumor, tossing names like a salad. Saying Nappier is in play for LSU sure doesn’t mean he is a lock or that LSU is considering him.
