Offensive onslaught leads TCU to victory

Five BYU errors and an offensive onslaught by the TCU Horned Frogs led them to a series-opening 16-5 victory Thursday night at Miller Field. The Frogs picked up 14 hits in the contest led by another good outing by Chris Ellington, who tied a school record with three doubles. The junior drove in four runs as did Ben Carruthers. In total, the Horned Frogs scored nine unearned runs in the game.
