Not so much a choke as Los Spurs are reaaaalllly playing great right now and just taking it to the mavs.

After constant fail against different opponents I'm pretty convinced that it's choke. Mavs make my sports life hurt way too often. At least I got to see the Frogs dominate this weekend.

Mavs remind me of the Spurs pre-Timmy. They relied solely on D Rob and as he went so went the Spurs. He had decent support but nothing like the current teams.

If Dirk is lights out, then the Mavs are almost unbeatable. If not though....yikes and good luck.

Dirk is obviously the catalyst, but I think he has enough support right now to at least make a deep run even when he's not lights out...that's what's so frustrating. I just know the Mavs make it hard to pull for them. I'm not a huge NBA guy, but I get in to the playoffs pretty hard. Having said that, they always let me down.

Every team is a let down except for the fans of the one team that wins the championship. Everybody's season ends in disappointment.

Not true. Lots of teams come in to a season or a playoff series as the underdogs (or with low expectations), but end up pulling off the upset or having a great/unexpected run...the Mavs are never that team. They are typically the favorites and end up crapping the bed, which is much more disappointing in my book.

Best of 7 series. Isn't it 3-1 now?

Yeah the series isn't officially over, I was just saying that because it is extremely difficult to come back down 3-1, especially against a team like the spurs

Maybe the mavs could take off their skirts and play.

Spurs have definitely brought the wood this series and Dallas has done very little to respond save Najera's best WWE takedown impression.

Same story different year with the Mavs. They dont play enough consistent defense to be a contender, and if anyone plays tough defense on them (like the Spurs are doing in this series) they revert to a jump shooting team. If JJ Barea is the only person on your team taking the ball to the basket its probably not a good sign, hell, if JJ Barea is getting a lot of minutes and playing in crunch time its probably not a good sign.

Since the Rangers suck, all we have to look forward to are Frogs, Cowboys, and in my case Sooners!

Only 132 more days!!

The Rangers were 8-10 after 18 games last year too and still managed to give us an interesting summer.
