Indulge me in a little proud father time. Last week my daughter found out she made DIII 2nd Team All-American in soccer and this past weekend my son was at a College soccer showcase in South Carolina where he had a pretty good weekend. After considering his options, he accepted an offer to attend and play at West Point next year. Not sure I've had a better week with my kids. Thanks for letting me share with the Pit family.

A couple side comments.... The goalie struggled a lot there, inexplicably going to his knees and then giving a big rebound (your son did an awesome job of taking advantage). And, the announcer struggled even more - it "trickles" in? Went in with authority!

Ha!! correct on the goalie situation, correct on the announcer as well. My wife basically said trickled what!! Announcer struggled all game pronouncing our last name!! Never got it right once.

My daughter's high school takes on Matt Bowen's ICC Prep tonight in football. Should be a good game. Wheaton Academy's QB was previously at ICCP.
