I think a lot of athletes think they may have a better shot at the NFL sometimes due to conference exposure, facing tougher teams and apparently there is some truth to that-sometimes players get drafted just because they are in a BCS conference/on a BCS team, etc..
And while sometimes they DO play tougher teams and may get better prepared for the NFL, apparently they don't necessarily fare as well in the NFL, as non-BCS athletes overall.
Sooooooooo....
Athletes take note-go to TCU, BYU or even Utah and look forward to a possibly productive career in the NFL ANYWAYS. And THAT is the moral of the story.
And why not? Why sit at FL or TX or Ohio-st for a year or two, when you might start immediately at a good program like BSU, TCU, BYU, etc..?? And still play some top teams, still get a great education and still make it to the NFL...
