How could any TCU fan forget. One win away from the CWS championship series and the Frogs couldn't deliver. And at the expense of TCU, remember....

So, you expect the brand new graduates to have a significant impact on our donor amounts? With the relatively large increase in enrollment over the last several years, have we seen any increase at all in mega-donors? It feels like the opposite has happened.
I'm guessing if you're really worried about sightlines for the game, you spend a few bucks more and buy a normal seat. If you want to hang out, grab a hot dog, and let your kids run around, you set up shop in the outfield or down the line. Point being, not worth whining to the AD about to build a new stadium. We have bigger fish to fry.Guessing you haven’t tried to watch a game from the “natural seating” down the right field line.
FS. The "new stadium" was a condition and a promise to both Coach S. and our previous Coach S. That is why some of us gripe on here.I'm guessing if you're really worried about sightlines for the game, you spend a few bucks more and buy a normal seat. I know it was a long while back, but I am guessing that the design of The Lup didn't have the idea of later expansion built in. I know that the New ACS was built with future expansion already planned and prepared for, but I saw much of the construction for the "expansion" of the Lup and the amount of excavating and tear-down they had to do made me think that just starting over back then would have been a better idea.FS. Understood. Someone else's promises were obviously made before the reality of the new College Sports world hits and dollars are needed for salaries. My point is it looks more than fine to me. Sprucing up an outside that hardly gets seen is pretty low on the priority list. When I drive by the ballpark, I don't even really see anything other than the field. It's not like the football stadium that is the face of the university.FS. The "new stadium" was a condition and a promise to both Coach S. and our previous Coach S. You know what baseball field is horrible? Wrigley. They should tear down that shack and build something shiny. Baseball stadiums are supposed to have some charm imo…. Fix it up and pay the players more. They care a lot more about getting the nil $ then sitting through new construction.Understood. How about we add more normal seats?I'm guessing if you're really worried about sightlines for the game, you spend a few bucks more and buy a normal seat.
“Normal” seats have been on a waitlist for years. IMO we could add 1000 seats and still sell them all. They aren’t all sat in very much, but they are all sold.I'm guessing if you're really worried about sightlines for the game, you spend a few bucks more and buy a normal seat. Other than for regionals and super regionals whoever owns the tickets beside mine have never come to a game.“Normal” seats have been on a waitlist for years. IMO we could add 1000 seats and still sell them all. They aren’t all sat in very much, but they are all sold.
You missed the “several years” part. So, you expect the brand new graduates to have a significant impact on our donor amounts?
...and you're basing your hypothesis on feelings?
You can't buy a normal seat. Reserved seats sell out during season ticket renewals. GA tickets are all that's available on an individual game basis.I'm guessing if you're really worried about sightlines for the game, you spend a few bucks more and buy a normal seat.
