was curious when frogs would be hosting night of champions and came across this

https://twitter.com/TCUFootball

also found a link to an article about last year's night of champions on the texas rivals site:

"TCU's annual Night of Champions is the team's powerlifting event that showcases some of the strongest players on the team. This year there was some really scary looking weight being thrown around. Let's take a look at the top performers from each category.

Here are the Top Performers in the Squat:

Freshman quarterback Shawn Robinson - 570 pounds

Sophomore running back Darius Anderson - 660 pounds

Junior linebacker Ty Summers - 700 pounds

Junior linebacker Alec Dunham - 750 pounds

Iron Frog Winners

(Overall strength by weight class - not necessarily tied to Night of Champions)

Jeff Gladney: Light (<189)

Niko Small: Middle (190-214)

Sewo Olonilua: Heavy (215-254)

L.J. Collier: Super Heavy (255+)

one thing that stood out to me was the only 3 seniors who posted lifts among the top 4 performers among the 4 lifts was john diarse, patrick morris, and nick orr

understand being able to do a great deal of weight doesn't automatically make you a good football player, but some interesting names in that article.

wes harris' numbers are really impressive when you consider he was just a short time out of high school

a 660 lb squat by the "speed" back in the frogs backfield is pretty damn impressive as well.

Damn...Those are from last year...Can’t wait to see the youngsters numbers this year. Wonder if the plan is to lean S-Rob up so he’s quicker and more agile next season.
