I hate the flag happy refs, what was he supposed to do? Let him catch a TD? That wasn't even helmet to helmet, just a good old fashioned hat to numbers hit at the perfect time.

There were a couple of similar calls. Hard hits but clean looking that were flagged. If those kinds of calls continue through the season it'a going to lead to a lot of frustration from players and fans.

Terrible call, but him being flagged isn't going to lessen his chances of making the team at all, so it's really kind of meaningless as far as that goes. I guarantee you he'll get kudos for making a good play from his coaches.
