walterfootball.com always has a deep one. However, I question their knowledge since they have Packers taking a TE in first round and WR in third round.

So, bleacher report has 50 DE listed with the lowest ranking being 300th overall. Even though this was updated as of 1/15 supposedly, Maponga is listed nowhere. I understand he's probably hanging his hopes on the combines but can this be right? Patterson obviously thinks he's making a mistake.

I understand you can make 400K on a practice squad but I equate it more to getting an MBA right after college. Sure you are foregoing a job with your undergrad degree but that loss with soon be made up with a better position long term. Anyway, whish he was getting better advice.

During the niner beat down, I Thought I heard Jermichael Finley is a free agent so packers could draft a TE.

We have 5 more. One who won the Mackey award two years ago. I don't think Ted Thompson is worried about drafting a TE when Rodgers played last month injured from getting railed most the game.

I think you only make about $80k on the practice squad. $400k is for being on the roster.

I came across a ranking of all the underclassmen that declared and of the 75 or so it had Boyce at 55 and Maponga at 70 or so.

Bleacher Report seems to have done the same type of thing. But theirs has Damontre Moore listed at 30th so I am skeptical of anything else that one says. Doesn't have Maponga. Had Boyce 37 1 spot ahead of ex-SMU QB Kyle Padron. Like I said shaky at best on this one.
