Newest McShay Mock Draft has Hughes & Washington going in the first round

I won't paste it here since it's Insider and we might get yelled at, but he has Hughes going #12 overall to the Dolphins and Washington to the Saints at the end of the first.

It was a different kind of mock, as he actually gave three potential scenarios for each team. He also had Hughes mentioned as a possible pick for the Niners or Jets, but isn't convinced Hughes will last that long. Mentioned Atlanta as a possible landing spot for Daryl as well.

Wow, that is a lot higher than I have seen anywhere else. Unfortunately, I think the Dolphins go with a different position (defensive line). But hey, that would be a great one to be wrong on.

Aaron Schatz from Football Outsiders was on Bill Simmons' podcast and was talking about a new test they were using to determine how effective a pass rusher would be in the NFL based on college stats and certain combine results. He mentioned some of the top performers in the past 10 years based on this test and Aaron Schobel was #1, there were other guys listed that all had a lot of career sacks.

#1 pass rushing prospect this year based on his test? Jerry Hughes.

I believe Washington goes in the 1st round, but Hughes not until the 2nd or 3rd round.

What a great time to be getting buzz like that. The draft starts in two days! If we get two first rounders, look out, cuz TCU will be the place to be.

Been hoping for the Past Year that this could happen, it would be awesome if we could get two names in the First Round after Baylor got Jason Smith to go Number 2 last year.

- Sure Parcells loves Jerry's Character, you know what you will get from him off the field in today's NFL that has to mean something. Like him More than Kindle ( and I am not saying that he wears burnt orange) If I am paying big bucks for a first round pick I want to make sure he is a stable kid, Jerry fits that bill.

- It is a toss up between Witherspoon from Mizzou and DW. Both very similar I like DW ( but I am bias) should be a fun weekend, just hoping neither of these guys go to Buffalo, or Oakland. Would be cool to see either of them in the NFC East every week.

I've been arguing the virtues of Washington over Weatherspoon for WEEKS on the Saints board I'm a member of. As much as I want to see them both in the first for TCU's sake - My Saints fandom hopes that we get Hughes at 32 and trade Lance Moore or Jamaal Brown + a 6th Round pick to KC and grab Washington at the top of the 2nd...

3rd??? Are you freaking kidding me? I wouldn't be shocked to see one or the other fall to the early 2nd, but 3rd is ridiculous.
