Just a curiosity, are there public or alumni memberships available in case I retire in FW one of these days? Or do you just let Wes slip in the side door?
More machines to isolate certain muscles and bulk up more. 20,000 sq. ft. of facilities for weight training alone can do alot of damage, in a good way.
So they don't have a problem where 5 guys need a squat rack, but there are only 4 available, if you get what I mean.
And dannyfrog, It's not like having some super new bicep curl machine will all of a sudden enable athletes to get bigger biceps, you can do that just fine using chin-ups, pull-ups, and the occasional barbell curl. Machines compared to free-weights are borderline worthless anyway unless you're injured or disabled.
The biggest advantage of the new facilities is that it enables them to get more athletes in at the same time and decrease "traffic" as teams move around. So they don't have a problem where 5 guys need a squat rack, but there are only 4 available, if you get what I mean.
