New Orleans Times-Picayune: A&M commit Claiborne visiting TCU

James Smith, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune

Port Allen linebacker and Texas A&M commitment, Darian Claiborne, is visiting Texas Christian University (TCU) this weekend. This visit is a recent development and a visit to Nebraska could also be in the works.

The 6-foot, 230-pound prospect committed to the Aggies in July and has been firm in his commitment until recently.

Texas A&M currently has 34 commitments which is a lot by today’s standards — by any standards to be honest. ...

Does anyone think he'll switch to the Frogs?

[Waccy Frog]

I hear there's a decent chance due to success if TCU'a LBs and the chance for early (very early) playing time.

[Froglaw]

I'd say TCU has a shot.

[Froglaw]

Probably above average chance.

[corpuschristifrog]

He didn't visit.

[Kansas Frog]

Never made it... TCU had him scheduled, then tried to reschedule on him late last week, and he basically said nevermind with it and likely won't visit at all now... Opportunity lost, although it appears TCU may have wanted it to be this way.

Yea, that's what happened.

[FrogCoach84]

Yea, that's what happened.

Ya I don't believe that's how it went down either.

What happened is Kevin Sumlin and his staff bullied a high school kid into bending to their will by making threats.
