Nebraska and Iowa

There’s an exceedingly logical three team trade to be made here:

Nebraska back to the Big 12
Missouri to the Big 10
West Virginia to the SEC

Just with the tiny assumption that Nebraska is willing to take a massive haircut in TV revenue
None of those are viable. Nebraska chewed its arm off to get away from UT and they are part of the be$t network deal in the country.
Missouri begged the Big10 for membership for decades. Answer always no.
WV academics are too bad for even the SEC. And no TV market to speak of.
Not happening.

Tuscon is also a pretty decent football venue and I'm sure Tempe is too. And they're in the Mountain time zone so it's not too cumbersome.

It's time for the Big 12 to make a raid for someone they don't have a history with like Nebraska and Colorado. Why throw them a rope? Do you think they would throw TCU one if we were in their places? Not likely..

interesting question for those on this site who are in position to hire people

does it matter to you that your candidates are from a school with an aau designation?

know where sweat equity stands on this and curious if this is something that truly matters once you leave college or it matters in your screening process
No...what is their major and how well do they interview.

Would be interested in your logic on this. I have thought about a nation wide confer

Too much travel expense....Not every B12 school has the same pile o'cash that TCU, UT, OU, have....Far fewer fans would travel from EST to MST and vice-versa just because their team is playing there....No interest in staying up late in WVa, Florida, or South Carolina to watch TV games in Arizona...or Arizona fans to watch an evening game in the EST which would be televised in the MST at noon or earlier....Pretty much would rule out Thursday games which TV likes, but would think twice about it with the likelihood of diminished viewership because of the time lags....

We just hired a girl who went to Arkansas because she's hot. She could have graduated from Nebraska Balloon School and still would have hired her.
