Ashamed. Anyone know the story there? Also, tell me when you play in a field where the wind blows straight in or across and your objective is to get to a stadium where the air is dead and nothing carries can someone tell me why a left handed hitter w/ decent speed is not an above average bunter?

There's several guys on that Hawaii squad I'd love to have. Really talented team that had a decent record and would have been better if not for the grueling travel schedule. Hopefully this year will show the committee that some of these lesser conferences are deserving of multiple tournament bids.

Side note, baseball in Hawaii is huge. Went twice last year to visit my sister and in January and July, it was nearly impossible to find an empty field to throw with my son. Kids of all ages playing pickup sandlot baseball. It was beautiful to see.

I think the balls are regulation size, no matter the geographical location.
