Another standout from TCU's 2009 squad has a shot to start at the next level.

Wes Bunting

A thinly built corner who needs to add a bit more bulk to his frame, Priest is a gifted athlete with natural bend in his lower half and impressive balance and overall footwork in his drop.

He does a great job sitting into his back-pedal, keeping his feet under him and exploding toward the ball. He's effective in both press/man and off-coverage and looks effortless when asked to open up his hips and run downfield. He's patient in his drop, doesn't bail out of his back-pedal prematurely and showcases the instincts and footwork to instantly click and close on plays underneath him.

He isn't physical, but is feisty off the line and isn't afraid to press. He does a nice job getting his hands in on receivers, but has a tendency to get straight-legged and high when trying to generate a push and will stop moving his feet. Overall, he isn't technically sound or physical when trying to reroute off the line, just pesky.

He looks effortless when asked to flip his hips and turn to run downfield and does a great job tracking the ball. He does a nice job getting into the frames of receivers in jump-ball situations and getting his hands up, but he needs to do a better job locating the ball. At times, Priest struggles to locate/get his head around in time. But he looks like one of the more fluid corners in the draft and is a tough guy to separate from. Although he isn't a physical force in the run game, he still looks like a guy who can make plays vs. an NFL pass game.

Grade: 6.2
