Congrats! And I haven't forgotten...

AND - everybody thinks CT surgeons aren't necessary until someone nicks an artery or something and they're being paged stat. The field will evolve and there's not a good non-invasive way that I know of to do valve replacements, lobectomies of the lung, etc. Maybe he could be the one to innovate those. Tell him good luck and do this thing!

I was suprised that he felt so strongly about TCU because he never shows much emotion. Even as his college search was progressing and he was telling me TCU was his first choice, I didn't believe him. Today, when he opened his acceptance letter I saw his hands trembling and I knew he loved TCU. He immediately posted a picture of his acceptance letter on his Facebook page, and I don't think he's ever done anything like that before.

Congrats. My youngest daughter's acceptance letter came from TCU on Satuday as well.
She was at the game and my wife took a picture of the letter and sent it to her. She had it posted on facebook before the game was over. TCU has been her first choice for over 2 years now so that means I'll have TWO daughters at TCU next year (and another daughter in private school in Oklahoma). Here's hoping for a lucky lottery ticket...

I wish I could say the same thing for my daughter. She got her acceptance letter too, but TCU is only about her fifth choice.

I thought recruiting would improve in the Big XII? We have to start winning these battles if we want to compete week in and week out.

I think we are going to lose this particular battle to the Big 10.
