Most Underrated TCU player?

Everyone knows about Fields, Verrett et al, but who is the best player from this year who nobody talks about?

I think I'd vote for Cam White, Olabode or Catalon III. Those guys have been quietly very, very good this year!

Collins. While frustrating to get penalties, he went up against Big XII d-linemen as a true freshman and held his own well.

Chucky Hunter and Davion Pierson. Those big guys don't have gaudy stats, but they are rocks in the middle. Would love to see them on the field at the same time more often with Lewis and David Johnson as a change of pace. Our D is going to be one of the very best in the nation next year, and our D-line is the biggest reason.

Sam Carter for me, by a significant margin.

3rd in sacks
4th in tackles
3rd in TFL
2nd in INTs

An amazing year for a guy who hadn't played the position in high school. Also he is one of the most mature guys on the team and a big leader of the D.

I do agree with this comment, but I refuse to like it, bc you liked your own comment, and that's amateur hour.

Sam Carter, Elisha Olabode, or Chucky Hunter. Take your pick. Since Chucky was recognized as 2nd team all Big 12, I tend to lean towards one of the first two. In terms of positional upgrade from last year, it's Olabode by a mile.

Yeah

All of the safeties could qualify as underrated, IMO

Hunter for me. I understand the sentiment for Olabode and Carter but overall Hunter seems to do more that flies under the casual fan radar. Among KFc posters I hope Olabode and Carter are properly valued.
