To me, hands down, Dallimore!
I remember a guy who started the last season in the lineup and everyone was wondering why he was even in the lineup.Yeah. Dallimore is batting .194 in non-conference games, the majority which occur early in the season. Conversely he is hitting .362 in Big XII games, which leads the Frogs.
The only problem with Dallimore and Traeger in the lineup at C and DH is losing the DH if one of them has to come out of the game.I feel like Dalli is our best option at catcher also. Seems like he does a better job at blocking balls than Traeger does.
Blanchard is still there on the bench if you needed to flex a couple of innings behind the dish before you blew up the DH position by moving the other catcher out of the DH role. id say the risk of that is low, but even if it happened, Blanchard allows you to delay the ’chase the DH’ game by an inning or two.The only problem with Dallimore and Traeger in the lineup at C and DH is losing the DH if one of them has to come out of the game.
I think Liddington has worked his way back to starting at 1B by his hitting.
