Most embarrassing football season in my lifetime.

I saw a Houston coaching staff that skillfully recognized every single weakness in TCU, and exploited them. QB draw for 72 yds is as good an example as any.
I saw a TCU team that wasn't prepared to play at all.
Briles running a failed QB sneak on 4th and 1-1/2 at the 40 was the tell of the game on offense.

Sonny got out coached and badly.

PS: the Abe Camara hit was the best clean football hit I have ever seen. 1 minute later, he's gone.

Didn't look like targeting to me. At best it was inconclusive.... tossing a kid based on the replay we were shown was a gross injustice to Abe.

Was I supposed to type something here?
That Frog Team out there last night didn't care. They were completely and utterly unprepared, and played without the spark that good teams carry with them. The contrast between the Worst Team in the Big XII and the Frogs was clear.

I came to write, "Heads. On. Pikes. I want to see heads on pikes!" Colorful, and born of frustration and shame, but unlikely. We are a civilized people now... Yet, firing this entire bunch of buffoons will annihilate the Athletics Donors. We owe Sonny $27 million. We owe the Whelp over a million. The worthless DC is owed a couple million. We're looking at a "Cost of Vengeance" bill of $35 million or more.

We ain't got the money.

Even if we did, where would the money come from for the New Guy? Plus all the Assistants, NIL loot, and other assorted money-assisted items? That's another $50 million. We ain't got it.

When the decision was made to fire GP, I felt that it was the correct one because he had lost the Team and Boosters. The fear I felt in this action was the Unknown: What happens if the New Guy sucks? What do you do then? The Hiring Wheel keeps on turning, vomiting cash all around.

And here we are.

That was a payback on how often Sonny has been in the face of referees. The Big12 ref's don't care for Sonny Dykes and in questionable moments they'll go against Dykes or TCU.

I came to TCU in 85, the year after the Bluebonnet bowl. I went to TCU because of the football history and the recent success. That was the same year Wacker kicked the players off the team including star running back Kenneth Davis. Football was never the same from that point on through my graduation.

A few short years after graduation, I became a season ticket holder and a die hard Frog fan. So die hard that I once left a friend's wedding early to fly home to get to the 1994 Tech home game. I was also at Amon Carter when we were 1-10 to beat SMU and the students took the goal posts down. I have seen the ups and downs of TCU football and then got to enjoy some wonderful years and the rise of the program under Patterson. I enjoyed that time and we were always tough and competitive. We had chances to win every game even when we were under dogs.

I was very fortunate to be able to attend the national championship game even though the score was a beatdown. I thought we would learn from that experience and build on that then the next season came along. I figured, ok, we had a mulligan, but we also lost alot of talent from the NC team to the NFL. Now, there is this season and we have had two historically bad losses and this team may not win another conference game.

We cannot accept the results from this coaching staff and need to make immediate changes starting at the top. They get paid far too much money to be this mediocre. They are also setting TCU football on a trajectory that we may not be able to overcome if this continues multiple seasons. I know everyone on this board knows there will be another conference realignment and it will suck to be left out.
You don't know what bad is. I suffered through the end of the 60's and the 70's. The 70's we were a waste land lost in the desert. I just hope we're not heading back that direction. We're not climbing the mountain - we're falling off the mountain.

That's pretty sad if true. College football has just gotten out of control with the kind of money that has been spent on coaching.
Like Saban said last week, some serious “control” needs to come to NIL. Right now the players run the prison. Personally, NOT participating, YMMV, Brought my Georgia son-in-law last night, so polite, never mentioned even once how bad TCU sucks right now. Ol #87, some of you need to sit by him….SD, might not want to though.

One occasion from many. Fourth qt, 6:30 to go. Houston needs a 4th conversion to continue down the field. If they complete that, the game is 90% over. Our number 13 is off the recv're a good 8 to 10 yards off Houston's wideout. Play starts, recv're walks 3 yards, turns and catches the pass—what do you know...dah. Houston coaches saw this before and took advantage, again.

The staff was standing not 10 yards away and did move no. 13 up to the line of scrimmage. No one on the TCU sideline caught that. Where are the people we hired to help correct those mistakes? And the tackling last night was .....BAD! Made little attempt to get off blocks so many times last night I lost my account. All in all, these NIL boys got paid to do nothing. I just described the entire game

If we are going to fire Sonny, then we have to fire the guy who hired him. We cannot let ADJD botch the next hire, too. Might as well clean out the entire athletic department, too.
He should have to watch HOURS of Danny Morrisons How To Be a College AD.
What a joke.

IMO, the epitome of why someone is in the TP. Sammy Carter has to be puking his guts out over how bad this secondary is.
