In the end, another super-duper conference will elevate itself further up the money scale from the new BG and the SIC conference. Marketing will see to this!

I really like your last sentence, because that’s what FSU/Clem. is to the B12, a short-term investment.

At the end of the day, when CFB Armageddon arrives and everything shifts, FSU/Clem. will be a member of whatever the BIG/SEC morphs into.

However, the B12 gets a bunch of nice ACC schools permanently.
- The B12 will have to pay a big piece of the negotiated exit cost, maybe $200-$300m total for both via private investment from B12 sources. FSU/Clem probably stays 2 to 5 years.
- But the B12 gets the extinction of the ACC along with VT, Pitt, Louisville, NC State, Virginia?, Miami??, Duke??, NC?? Who knows what Yormark could spin up here.

He's playing checker, and everyone else is playing checkers?

Never heard that saying lol. That guy is a bit of a clown.

So no school outside the BIG and SEC made more than TCU.
We're the best of the others.
I see articles from time to time that talk about the biggest winner of realignment.... IMO, there's literally no comparison - it's us! I mean, it wasn't too terribly long ago that we were making a pittance.... Literally taking big $ from bigger schools for body bag games to fund the program. For God's sake, we were in the WAC!

Yeah, we may be the "best of the rest" but damn... We earned our place here through performance...pretty amazing IMO. Can't say that for a lot of the others!

So the Aggie to B1G rumors are out there again and involved in this whole ACC implosion thing.

BY has shown he can close deals. So I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt to get something done to our conf advantage.

Texas A&M has mortgaged what is left of their entire alumni-/fan-base's sanity to the Aggy = SEC narrative. There aren't enough couches in the universe to be lit on fire by the combined rage of those morons if the school announced they'd be playing Purdue and Minnesota instead of LSU and Bama just so they could dodge Texas.

Never underestimate their hatred of UT and the fact that they are now no longer the only Texas school in the SEC. Aggie gonna Aggie at some point

Yes, ESPN has agreed to pay more money to move half of the ACC from one contract with ESPN to a more expensive contract with ESPN. And they told this guy but kept it quiet with everyone else.
I’m guessing the pro rata value they have for those 4 schools is much less than the rest of the remaining ACC schools. So they would still reduce their outlays in the future if this happens.
