This secondary could be very, very fun to watch. On paper the success of this defense depends on the DE's. If they can be just average and not give QBs all day to move around in the pocket we could be pretty salty.

silly part of the match up articles is they often times missed other key details. how purdy 'MATCHES UP" against two of the frogs three safeties (guess the third safety is watching the running back or maybe their tight end) doesn't matter if the defensive ends play anywhere close to the way they played last year.

37 rushes for 187 at over 5 yards a clip last year was about poor safety play.

Our defense has rarely found its form in the first game against a quality opponent. Seems like we usually have alignment and assignment problems that result in big plays in games early in the season. Let's hope we can buck that trend with the talent and experience this year.
