MLive: Michigan State's greatest running back of all time advocates Le'Veon Bell return for senior year

EAST LANSING — Le'Veon Bell has a decision to make, and there might be only one other person who understand what it's like to rush for a mile in Bell's green-and-white cleats.
Former Michigan State Great Lorenzo White, the school's all-time leading rusher and single-season record holder, has kept a trained eye on Bell from a distance.
"I think he's a tough runner,'' said White, who was in town to watch the Spartans' alumni basketball game at Jenison Field House last Friday.
"But he's like a lot of other backs, there are things he needs to work on,'' White said. "I would like to see him stay and work on the smaller things. ...
