MLive: Michigan State football quarterback Andrew Maxwell believes his receivers can become 'household names'

TEMPE, Ariz. — Michigan State quarterback Andrew Maxwell ranked 11th in the Big Ten in passing efficiency, but that has not hurt the confidence he has in the Spartans' passing game or his teammates.
Maxwell said Michigan State (6-6) will look to make a statement of sorts against TCU (7-5) when the teams meet at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.
"I'm looking forward to see what we can do as a whole, and see what we can do as a passing game,'' Maxwell said. "This could be a great opportunity to become that passing attack that we always knew we could be.'' ...
