As Michigan State prepares to take on TCU Dec.30 in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, there's at least one Horned Frog circled, highlighted and underlined in the scouting report.

Defensive end Devonte Fields was already the most decorated freshman in the Big 12. On Thursday, ESPN.com ranked Fields as one of the Top 25 underclassmen in the nation.

"There is a lot to like about Fields ... including his natural core strength at the point of attack, violent hands and explosiveness from start to finish as a pass-rusher," wrote ESPN analysts Todd McShay, Steve Muench and Kevin Weidl. "These tools, which have already enabled him to produce in his first collegiate season, provide him with significant upside going forward." ...

Did not see that in the title. Plus it is a Michigan publication, so I doubt that was the intent. Didn't see condescending for either team.
