MLive: Bell played through shoulder injury, will submit paperwork to NFL College Advisory Committee

EAST LANSING — Michigan State tailback Le'Veon Bell revealed that a recurring shoulder injury affected his play over the final two games of the season.
Bell, recently named the College Football Performance Awards Elite Running Back Trophy winner, said he suffered the injury against Northwestern and it continued to affect him during the Spartans' 26-10 victory over Minnesota on Nov. 24.
But with Michigan State's school-record bowl streak on the line, Bell persevered through the pain, carrying Golden Gophers on his back at times en route to a personal-best 266 yards on 35 carries.
Bell currently is mulling his future and is considering making himself available for the upcoming NFL Draft. He has until Jan. 15 to announce his intentions.
Bell said Saturday he is focused on preparing for the Spartans' Dec. 29 Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl game against TCU, and that he believe his shoulder injury is behind him. ...
