Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Tolzien's rise has been a developing story at UW

Los Angeles — Isaac Anderson hasn't forgotten his first summer at Wisconsin.
The year was 2006.
His roommate was an unheralded quarterback from Rolling Meadows, Ill.
His name was Scott Tolzien.
What Anderson, a touted wide receiver from Minneapolis, Minn., remembers most is failing miserably in his attempts to get Tolzien out on the town with their new teammates.
"That entire summer guys were out getting acclimated to the place," Anderson said. "Scott would be in his room. He was writing out the playbook. I would say he knew the entire playbook his freshman year. He was in there writing down plays, drawing pictures.
"Literally he would be at his desk just writing." ...
