sorry. Watching the game and all I can keep saying is "San Jose FREAKIN' State" over and over. (I'm not over that fateful November night of 2000....)

There's a major TCU / Bowling Green connection.

Anyone care to take a guess?

BGSU alum Tim Conway once starred on the Carol Burnett show. Carol Burnett used to pull on her ears out of habit. A habit can also refer to the clothing worn by nuns. Nuns performed synchronized swimming in the Mel Brooks movie "History of the World, Part 1." History of the World, Part 1 also included a cameo by actor Dom DeLuise. Dom DeLuise got his start in showbiz as an intern in the 50s at the Cleveland Play House. And Cleveland just so happens to be the city in which current TCU chancellor Victor Boschini was born.

That what you were thinking?

That was pretty impressive.

And yes, Legendary Chancellor Victor M. F. Boschini is an alumnus of Bowling Green.

Every time I hear the words San Jose State that game is all I think about...that game sent me into a depression.

As I recall, they had dedicated the game to a teammate who had lost a limb as a result of an injury on the field. The game showed what emotion can mean.
