Might have to cross Buc-ee's off the list

@Horned Frog Country - I will no longer stop at Buccee's during the day on the weekend because it's a zoo. Also, no squeegees at the pumps. WTH? I might stop late at night, especially if I'm hungry. My preferred stop is Duke's in Canton. And the sports grill there is good.

I usually park on the side of Buc cees so it is easier to get in and out. I usually go there in the morning and at late at night so it is not always that bad trying to get a parking spot.

I do sometimes stop at Dukes but not for gas. They are usually real high for gas prices. The best thing at Dukes is Craft 64! That is the best burger place in East Texas a long with the Butcher Shop in Longview.

I will stop at the ones in Angleton and Wharton because I can pull up to the far pumps and not be in the midst of a zoo. Sadly, the one in Wharton is in the middle of the current US 59/I-69 construction, and getting back westbound on 59 is a little ticklish.

The one in Luling is a zoo all the way round.
