I'm planning on going o the TCU vs BU bball game on Saturday. Does anyone know where the visitors section of the Ferrell center is? Is anyone else planning on going?

I've heard that they don't check tickets to get to your seat, so I may just pick up something cheap and move to where any purple is.

The only true visitor section is the section of black padded folding chairs on the floor directly behind the visitor bench; this section has approx 50 seats in it. Otherwise visitors are just scattered around where empty seats are available.
The part about not checking tickets is only true for low attended non-conf games; once conf starts the seats are mostly full (7k - 10k). For this game i expect about 8k or so depending on students getting back in town.

I can rationalize not driving to FW for a bball game. But After living several states away, i have to take advatage of it when they'll be 15 mins from home. Heck, I drove a 2 hours to watch us play IU a couple years ago.

Back in the C-USA days I drove from grad school in Bloomington to see TCU play in Louisville at Freedom Hall. I still had Texas plates on my car, so when I got out in the parking lot some Louisville fans looked at me like I was from the moon. They figured I had driven in from Texas for the game.
